My soul is tired - and that's okay
Her soul is tired.
“What brings you to Rested Life Mentoring?” I asked.
She said:
“My soul is tired. And I need to acknowledge that.
I’ve been on a hamster wheel. Sometimes we lie to ourselves and think we’re fine and over time we believe ourselves and keep going on the hamster wheel.
When I think to myself my soul is tired, it doesn’t have to equal a negative judgement on myself.
Even though I have a great life, I don’t have to be happy. I don’t have to feel shame. I don’t have to feel gratitude.
It’s okay to feel my anger and rage. My disappointment.
The universe just gave me a way out when I abruptly lost my job of two decades.
I’m really at a crossroads. I decided not to get another job right now because I’m caregiving so much for my family.
Hester, my soul is tired. That’s why I am here.”
As a rest mentor, I absolutely LOVE having these conversations with women.
It’s why I created the Rested Life Mentoring Program.
Soul-level exhaustion is very common, and can make us feel really stuck.
That’s why we have specific Yoga Nidra for the layers of exhaustion: physical, mental, emotional, and soul-level exhaustion. All of which build upon each other.
We create the time and space to explore both WHAT is keeping you in the cycle of fatigue and HOW to break free of that cycle.
With embodied practices and the 3-phase journey I learned in my training, Rested Body, Rested Voice and Rested Action, we gently explore another way of living that is more rested, more calm, and more free.
There are currently 2 spots available.
