From the comfort of your home or office, on Zoom
Deep Winter Rest will help you:
Recharge your batteries with a weekly Yoga Nidra nap in a sisterhood of women.
Identify what’s rested and not rested in your weekly routine.
Learn to navigate situations that don’t feel rested for you, especially with people who you find challenging.
Set rest boundaries with yourself, your clients, family, and friends.
Make rested decisions for your life with the help of your body’s inner wisdom.
Discover what type of rest your body is asking for.
Create an inviting space to rest in your own home.
We meet on Zoom, so you can rest from the cozy comfort of your home, or even make a “rest nest” at your office.
You will learn the same embodied practices I use personally & in my rest business,
based on The Rested Path™ framework I learned from Karen Brody at Daring to Rest…
The Rested Path:
1) Rested Body: giving our bodies physical rest first so we can see clearly.
2) Rested Voice: finding our intuitive voice that resides in our body.
3) Rested Action: using our intuition to guide actions and decisions so we have a more well-rested tomorrow.
Our themes each week:
Week 1: Your rest history as medicine
Week 2: In-body coaching around a situation that’s NOT rested
Week 3: Holding opposites in unrested situations + finding your voice
Week 4: What kind of rest do I need? + creating rest boundaries
Week 5: Your body as a pendulum: Do I have energy for this?
Week 6: Frequency sorting: What’s rested + not rested?
Here’s what women are saying about The Rested Path™:
“I was in a state of overwhelm within my business amongst many transitions and changes. My rest session with Hester was a wonderful experience in allowing me to stop and make decisions from a more grounded state. I felt much less urgency after my session and was able to see the decisions I needed to make with more clarity and calm.”
“Hester’s rest sessions are absolutely amazing. After the sessions I feel calm, clear and focused and was more productive than usual with work tasks for the rest of the day. If you are finding yourself tired, unable to focus, or even irritable, I highly recommend working with Hester.”
“Although I have mindfulness, meditation and Yoga Nidra experience, I still found myself in a hurried, overwhelmed state of mind one week.
After a rest session with Hester, we leveraged my more grounded state by practicing conscious and directed business planning, using a series of her prompts.
It transformed my anxiety into a gentle and less stressful mindset for my business.
Be brave and rest to reclaim your peaceful power.”
What does our time together look like?
Much of our time will be “quiet” between the Yoga Nidra and journaling prompts/exercises. Outside of our group sessions, you are encouraged to use the Yoga Nidra recordings (15-20 min) and Short Rest practices (5 minutes) provided.
In each session we will:
Notice how we feel. This is integral to a well-rested life.
Lie down and receive a Yoga Nidra rest meditation.
After Yoga Nidra, slowly awaken and free-write or draw in our journals, harvesting the wisdom from our rest.
Learn embodied exercises to listen to our intuition.
Experience journaling exercises to explore our past & present blocks to rest as well as new approaches to try.
Identify rested action steps to take in our daily life.
Share our experiences with the group if desired. Everything shared is strictly confidential.
