Your Rested Life Journey

In 12 sessions over 6 months, you’ll receive the physical rest you need, and take steps that lead to a more rested version of your life.

Each spacious session is 90 minutes to allow for both rest + mentoring.

Hi, I’m Hester.  

I come from a long line of highly-sensitive women.

And I was raised in a culture of rest.

My grandfather used to say always leave some water in your schedule.

As a little girl, I remember my mother & grandmother resting. My grandmother loved creating rest nests all over her home and my mom still takes care not to book her schedule beyond her capacity. Their example taught me to nap, read, and dream.

I later rediscovered rest as an exhausted 35-year old health coach, yes an exhausted health coach! Me and my clients were all too exhausted to make lifestyle changes. That’s when I became a Certified Daring to Rest Coach & Yoga Nidra Facilitator trained in The Rested Path.

You’ll be guided by someone who truly understands the art of rested living as a highly-sensitive woman.

Mentoring with me includes:

My full presence: I see a limited number of clients so I can practice Yoga Nidra personally and show up for you as my rested self

Customized rest prescriptions based on my training and ancestral rest wisdom from my mother and grandmother

The coach-client relationship is important to your rest journey. If we find during your free consultation that we’re not a mutual fit, I will offer you contact info for my rest colleagues or other healers who might be more compatible.

  • Sessions are currently available Tues-Fri 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern time. Check availability prior to purchasing at: https://hesterkohlwellness.as.me/

    When you purchase your rest package, you’ll be taken to my online calendar. You can either book all your sessions at once or use a code to book them as you go.

    You’ll also be able to reschedule sessions as needed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

  • Choose from 3 options:

    • In-Person at my rest sanctuary in Lincolnville, Maine. Resting by the crackling wood stove or on the screened porch with the sound of birdsong.

    • Zoom: You always have the option to turn off your camera.

    • Telephone: You’ll call me at the time of your session

  • Single sessions are available as a gift or for someone considering the Rested Woman package. You can book a single session here. Rest is a lifelong practice and I encourage you to invest in yourself by booking the Rested Woman journey.
