Rockport Library is sponsoring a free guided relaxation session with local Rest Coach, Hester Brooks. In between summer vacations, houseguests and adventures, it's easy to burn out. Join us to keep your cool during summer's high energy. Lie down & listen as you are guided into breath sensing, body sensing and guided imagery, leading you to a deep state of peace and calm.
Bring something padded to lie down on (along with your favorite pillow/blanket), or choose to rest in the library’s chairs.
Hester Brooks is on a mission to create a well-rested world, one woman at a time. She found the Daring to Rest method at a time when she was physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted and it transformed her sleep and her life. Hester is a Daring to Rest Certified Rest Coach and Yoga Nidra facilitator and offers 1:1 coaching and deep rest events to help women identify what's keeping them in a cycle of fatigue, start a rest practice, and make decisions that support their future rested self.
